R&S Projects

Since its inception, Techno-Rail has focused on Research and Development activities by participating individually or in associated form in both regional and national public tenders. Over time, the company has built a dedicated team whose objective is to investigate, propose, develop and manage R&D activities on issues related mainly to the transport sector with particular reference to railway safety, pooling the identified needs in the relationship with our industrial customers and the innovative ideas that come from existing relationships with the academic world. It includes important projects financed by MISE, MIUR and the Campania Region, carried out in collaboration with Research Centers and Universities:

• PRIAMOS project, that is an integrated software and technological platform for the acquisition and analysis of heterogeneous data relating to safety and maintenance aspects, configurable for various applications in the industry and transport sectors, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics of the University of Salerno (DipMat), in the context of the "MISE Call for Intelligent Factory, Agrifood and Life Sciences".

SINTONIA project, that is a monitoring system of the railway electric traction infrastructure, in collaboration with T&T srl as part of the "Public call for support to MPMIs in Campania in the implementation of experimental development, technology transfer and industrialization projects".

EMODEVTRACK project, in collaboration with T&T srl and the Interdepartmental Research Center for Arterial Hypertension (CIRIAPA) of the University of Naples Federico II, as part of the Sustainable Growth Fund program - Horizon 2020 call - PON 2014/2020), "Integrated system for automating the management processes of high-cost medical devices".

GSMQOS project, (Global System for Mobile communications railway – Quality Of Service) in the context of the MIUR tender DM 593 2000 art.14, for the development of a software prototype capable of monitoring the quality of the voice service in railway network infrastructures GSM/GSM-R.
